Have I told you how I love the beach and the sun? Here I am again into another coastline (and it’s not even officially summer yet).
My uncle with his family went back to Manila for a two-week vacation, and of course, part of it is we have to go to the beach! And instantly, I am the happiest kid!
Before going to the resort, we dropped by Calauan, Laguna to have lunch at Isdaan restaurant. Aside from the awesome boodle fight, we had fun watching their mini shows and of course, the tacsiyapo!
We stayed at Palm Beach resort located at the far end of the La Iya coastline. The beach isn’t really good in La Iya. There are lots of seaweeds and stones, but I really don’t care (haha). The resort, though, is superb! I love the pool, the rooms, the food and the amenities! Though it’s quite pricey, it surely is worth every penny spent.
The highlight of this trip is probably the non-existent signal. Whatever telco you use, you’ll get no signal in there! And the resort WIFI isn’t working well. We were quite struck and worried at first. But this little glitch paved the way for better family bonding moments.
No one gets out of the water to check their phones cause there’s nothing to check. It was just us – no outside world to disturb our family trip. We had a fun night of telling stories and endless singing over cans of beers against the quiet, serene ambiance inside a cabana, along the beach.
It was perfect!
